I have symptoms of my period, but there is no blood. A pregnancy test came up negative.What could be wrong?

Question:
I am 23 and have been stressed a lot lately, but I have cramps and my breasts are sore, moody...you know the usual. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex around/during my last period(1 day before, and 1 day after, 1 day during) He never ejaculated inside of me though. I tested for pregnancy the day that I was scheduled for my recent period and it didnt come so I tested, and it was negative. We are waiting a week to re-test. Could something be wrong with me....or is it the stress? And even so would I get the cramps and stuff still even though I am not bleeding? Is this my period, even though I am not bleeding or is something blocking it?? If it is not my Period how long will it be delayed??? Will I feel symptoms of it until it comes??

Answers:
It is one of 2 things;

1- You are NOT pregnant, but your period is late due to a temproary hormonal imbalance caused by stress or fatigue. No need to worry, you should get your period in a couple of days.

2- You ARE pregnant. Remember, those home pregnancy tests are not that accurate or you could have used it too early to detect the pregnancy.
By the way, pregnancy symptoms are very similar to pms. Sore nipples, upset stomach etc. The fact that he did not ejactulate inside you, does not mean he did not pass sperms inside you. Sperms are often released during intercourse prior to ejactulation in small quantities.

No need to wait for a week for another home pregnancy test, give it another shot in a couple of days. If you want to be absolutely sure, take a blood test. Same day results.
It does sound like your pregnant, but your pregnancy test failed. My wife tends to skip periods from time to time or her periods just come late. I would feel that you being so stressed out might cause you to be late or skip your period, but I am not a professional. Hope you get a good answer from some of the ladies around here that might know more to help you than me. Hey, try to relax and don't get stress out. Good Luck.
