"unputable"? whats that?
I know how it feels sometimes when you have a long day at school or college and menstruation cramps just drag you down so bad that all you want to do is crawl in bed and sleep it out. But hey, remember all the women out there, the surgeons, the lawyers, the politicians...they all suffer from the same thing and yet they keep going on! Don't think you're the only one :)
What i find helps is to take a painkiller the second i start having the sensation that i'm going to have my period soon that day, even before the pain starts. I like using gel-capsule ibuprofen because they are very fast-acting.
What i also found works wonders is exercise and i'm serious. When i spend a month relatively immobile, like before exams, the pain is much worse and i end up nauseous. However when i exercise regularly during the month, the pain is much less. In fact i recently went on a mountain-climbing trip and that month i hardly felt any discomfort at all!
Try to eat a healthy balanced diet and make sure you are taking enough iron because that can also have an effect. Of course allowing yourself some chocolate or ice-cream on a bad day is totally acceptable too :)
Maybe its not your unputable PMS that's making you uncomfortable. Does your unputable PMS make you uncomfortable anywhere else? Look for feminine products that specifically say they are for unputable PMS and work best in school environments.
