why the hysterectomy? leg pains can be anything from cramps, nerve impingement (spine) or arthritis. You are relatively young so arthritis is unlikely. If you had a hysterectomy because of danger of malignancy then it is best to look out for deep venous thrombosis. Gynecological problems or cancer can cause the blood to be too thick or sluggish causing it to form tiny blood clots which may block your veins causing decreased blood flow. This may be dangerous because these clots may be dislodge and in turn travel towards the arteries supplying your lungs causing pulmonary thromboembolism which can be fatal if massive. Look for sign of swelling of the legs, redness, claudication or intermittent calf pain upon walking
Severe arthritis, go see a neurosurgeon immediately.
I think maybe it could be a trapped nerve if it is shooting pain or maybe a form of arthritis. it would probably be a good idea to go to a chiropractor and find out more. Good luck.
My joints started popping when I was 6 or 7 years old and continues to this day. I was also born with Scoliosis. When I turned 38, I was also very tired and had pain throughout my body. I went to see a Rheumatologist and was told I was too young to have Arthritis. But when the blood test came back, I had not one, but 3 forms of Arthritis. I am walking, but unable to work.
If it were me, I would see a Chiropractor and have ex-rays done. You could have a pinched nerve somewhere. I get them in my hips all the time, and it causes severe leg pain. My Sciatic nerve is the worst. I don't know what the hysterectomy would have to do with it, but see a Dr. to be sure.
Good luck and I hope you are okay!
Joint pain or stiffness of the joint may be caused by overexertion, injuries, arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis and other diseases. Depending on the cause of the joint pain, joints on both sides of the body and small or large joints may be affected. Some types of joint pains can be completely cured but for other types of joint pain (like pain caused by osteoarthritis), treatment will only reduce the pain.
