I have a prescription written by my dermatologist two months ago, it is still valid? Can I still go to the pharmacy and get my medication? Its a new prescription not a refill. Thanks
is it okay for girls to have a mustache?
Answers:
it depends on the drug, and the state in which you try to fill it.
It is probably for what is called a 'legend' drug, in which case it is good for one year from when it was written..in Utah which is where I live. Call your pharmacy, they can tell you the answer in 5 seconds.
Are cold sores caused by stress?
yep.
you can still go and get it.
(you should check out at walmart, they have a ton of generics now for 4 dollars if you dont have insurance..)
Typically it's 1 year. Call your pharm first to make sure it's ok with them.
Is materbation a bad thing to do?
most prescriptions are good for thirty days, the pharmacist will simply call your doctor to verify it, there shouldn't be a problem getting it tho.
is it normal for a 14 year old to have growing pains in their legs?
usually within a few months of t being written if you get it filled the medicine itself expires a year later
it's usually good for up to a year.
Yes, you can. If the pharmacy has any questions, they will call the doctor's office. But you'll be fine. (As long as it's not a narcotic, that is.)
I'm allergy to paracetamol and NSAIDS.Please tell a antipyretic for me?
most prescriptions should be taken til its all gone. but its still good til up to 1 year. if you still have it after 1 year and take it nothing will happen it just means that the medication will not be as effective. just to be on the safe side you should throw it out. no one else should take your mendicine if prescribed. the doses are decided by a number of things including weight and height. just for the fun of it lets say you and a friend are both 180lbs but you are 5'11'' and your friend is 5'4'' that may be something significant. that person may need more milligrams or less also you may have slightly diffrent things like a heart problem, diabetes, etc. that a doctor takes into consideration.
You should still be able to fill it, they may need to call the doctor for verification but it is still good.
There are certain meds that now adays, you have 30 days to take in.
Call the pharmacist and ask.Thats all you can do. If not, call the MD, tell them of the situation, and tell them you will bring in the old script for a new one.
We will work with you on that.
Good Luck
How do over come insomnia without a sleeping pill?
Yes, it should still be valid. Prescriptions last for between 6 months and 1 year. Just go to a pharmacy and present the prescription. If there's any problem with it, the pharmacist will just call the dermatologist.
