I just got a air purifier and it has a ionizer. I know it couses a ozone layer. How can i help protect myself from this

Huh? it does what to the ozone layer? All it does is purify the air you are breathing in your house/apt by ionizing the impurities and removing them from the air. You buy this so that it can help you breathe especially if you are asthmatic or have allergies, there is no need to protect yourself from anything but the impurities in the air

There is absolutely no problem with an ionizer room purifier.
Sure, we've heard on the news and read the false reports that
these ionizers cause havoc with the air we breath, yet no one
has given any kind of proof of it. On the contrary, I'm doing much better these days.
It's yet another way to put fear in the public, keeping us sick with
allergens, bacteria, and every germ out there floating around in our home.
And guess who would benefit if everyone decided not to use an
ionizer, The drug companies, doctors and inevitably, the FDA,
after all they are the one who either 'promote' or 'denote' any
and every product.. I have four ionizers in my home, and have had them for over three years and felt better than I ever was without them. I 'USED' to suffer with terrible allergy problems,
but not any more, not unless I go outside for too long..
