What are the best ways of keeping clean?
Question:
I sort of have this problem where I don't:
-Touch door handles, windows stuff like that.
-Hands
-or computer mouses except my own
I don't mind touching dirt and oil and stuff like that, it's just germs. What is the best way to keep my hands clean throughout the day?
Answers:
cotton gloves
Purell hand sanitizer
use hand sanitizers
stay clean mentally..if you think cleanliness your action will follow.
Pl go to Psychologist and consult your prob; you are suffering with some psychological problem same as my father. Don't delay.
You could wear gloves.
Other than that, just don't
worry about it so much. You
grew up with the same germs
around, and you didn't contract
any serious diseases, right? If
you're so worried about it, then
use your sleeve when you can
and don't put food in your mouth
with your hands and don't touch
your mouth or your eyes with
your hands -and voila!
Well, use a bath & Body hand sanitizer because it not only cleans the germs, it moistureizes them. If you use hand sanitizer too much and don't moisturize your hands, then they will dry out and crack. (Painful)
They make a cream called Kerodex. It is actually to keep stuff off of your hands. The one I used was for wet work, dishwashing mostly. It is like a rubber glove feeling and it protects against chaffing. But they also make one for dry work. It is rubbed in like hand lotion. The water one is applied to dry hands and then you run the hands under cold water to "set" it. It works great. I worked for a restaurant and did alot of dishes and I never had any dry cracks like I did before I got the stuff. I found it at a Pharmacy. It will definately keep stuff off of your hands and you don't have to reapply the cream until you take it off. Then you have to reapply it of course.
try gloves
Wear latex gloves like the doctors wear. Instead of doing that, what I do is make sure I have napkins in my purse, for door handles, elevator buttons, etc. And after I use it I throw it away and use a new one each time. I have several in my purse if I'm going out. I can't use the same one because i don't want to spread the germs in my purse or anything. I also keep sanitizer. So maybe you can keep a few napkins in your pocket just in case you need to touch something, or try the gloves
Use a germacidal hand cleaner. I use it because I teach computers and keyboards have a lot of germs.
I hate to break this to you, but all day long you are breathing in germs. Not all bacteria is harmful. In fact, many bacteria are good for you. By trying to avoid contact with "germs" you may actually be doing damage to your body's immune system. With lessened contact with daily bacteria, your immune system does not have the chance of developing ways of counteracting any infections.
Please note that a smallpox vaccination is actually injecting bacteria into your body so that the immune system can set up defenses against it.
Washing your hands is the #1 way to help prevent the spread of germs. If thats still not making you comfortable go purchase a box of gloves to wear. /shrugs
