Swollen Tonsils?
My tonsils are swollen and tender...but I have no congestion, no sore throat, no fever. Why?
Answers:
Your body is giving you a signal that you are dehydrated. Drink several galsses of water with a pinch of sea salt for a few days and you will be as good as new..then keep on drinking water every day. Switch from table salt to sea salt for salting food and back off on dairy.

How to keep medicine cool, but not cold?
Could be the dry, heated air you're breathing at night or sleeping with your mouth open. Before bedtime, use a humidifier or put out a small amount of water near your bed so it will evaporate and moisturize the air. Also, you can use saline spray in your nose, followed by a q-tip with vasaline/vicks in the nostrils. This will keep the area moist. Take a couple of aspirin/motrin/ibuprophen for the tenderness (with food) as all are anti-inflammatories and pain killers. Gargle with tbls. table salt and 1 cup of warm water. Drink hot tea and lay off of the sodas. Up your fluids. All of these things (including chicken soup) will really help and prevent you from getting something worse like bronchitis. Godloveya.
