Are my eyes giving out on me?

A couple of months ago, lights (like flash light) began to appear on both sides of eyes. My vision worsened and got new glasses and went to a specalist. Nothing was wrong. Now, I can barely see the letters on the monitor with my glasses on. My bifocals are not capibale to read monetor because they are too low. Do you think that my eyes have other problems that the specalist cannot find? Please do not make fun of an old granny. Talk nice.

Is there a relationship between having a distorted equilibrium and smoking? If so how does it work?

Answers:
Return to your specialist. If he/she cannot help you, seek a different specialist. My son was born with birth defects 26 years ago, and I discovered that there are degrees of specialists, i.e., just because someone is a specialist, it doesn't make him or her an absolute authority. When a specialist would "give up" on my son, and basically say he was going to die and there was nothing more to be done,I would simply find a different specialist who could help him. He is now 26 and getting married this summer. Had I accepted one specialist's answer, he would not be alive today. Something is obviously wrong with you and you need to find a physician who can help you. I have gone to 4 specialists for help recently, including the U of Mich. who could not help me with a major medical problem I was having. I went on the net, found yet another specialist who solved my problem in one office visit!!

If U R Struggling to use bi-focals for the computer, go back to your optician and ask for a specific pair just for computing, you will not need another eye examination.
