Glutamine to protect the intestinal tract?

Chemotherapy attacks cells in the intestinal tract and from what I understand can make absorbing nutrients harder. I read a study that said "Glutamine" (which is used by the intestinal tract) can help to protect it/rebuild it and help during chemotherapy. Anybody know anything further on Glutamine or similar ways to help with the gut during chemo?

Anyone ever attempt to use Oolong tea for weight loss boost? Does it work?

Answer:
glutamine is generally great for gut problems but as u said specifically fantastic in chemo. Have read glutamine may increase the susceptibility of cancer cells to the toxic effects of chemo so not only does it help heal the gut, may also help get over cancer quicker :) Look at cat's claw and ginger which are herbs speculated to minimize negative reactions during treatment (plus the ginger can help with the nausea and gut discomfort). As always, talk to your doctor about this (TTYDAT).

I want to become a doctor when I get older, what should I do to become one?

I've been hearing alot about Essiac Tea and cancer. Type that in your search bar and read up about it. My girlfriend just took her family to a holistic doctor and they gave her husband the Essiac
Tea for his prostate problems. Someone else on YouQA also said their dad drinks it everyday for his cancer. It has very interesting claims, I think you should research it.
